Music

Hey guys, quick post about my musical background and what you should expect in the future about any posts that i make about music.

So when i was about 5 i started playing the cello and i have been playing ever since, but i have also played the trumpet, the bass guitar, the piano and the double bass at one point. But i guess you can say that my main instrument is the cello. I'm playing in the MYO (Melbourne Youth Orchestra) but i do have to say that classical music is not my favorite. Really i like all music, except maybe for heavy/death metal, and in the future i will probably be posting about recent music i heard and liked, or something along the lines of that.

If you have any music that you think i would like, feel free to comment it and maybe i'll give my views on it etc.

Now is this cool or what?

Till next time

Boooom....... HEADSHOT

Today i am very happy to announce that we got him.

Who? you might ask, well if you did answer that question you must have isolated yourself from the rest of the world for an entire day, because that "who" was OSAMA BIN LADEN.

He is gone, dead, ceased to exist, because he was killed and his body was retrieved after US special forces attacked his hideout just outside Islamabad (the capital) in Pakistan, killing him with no American or civilian casualties. This top secret mission was successful and after decades of tracking and failed attempts to assassinate or capture Bin Laden the US persevered and finally triumphed over the leader of Al Qaeda.

People celebrating at ground zero (where the twin towers were before they were destroyed by Al Qaeda led by Osama Bin Laden)

Nintendo 3DS

You’ve all seen the ads, “you have to see it to believe it” but honestly it’s true, my friend Mikey D let me use his 3DS (you should go check out his blog, it’s Mike D’s house of mike, it’s awesome). I was sceptical at first but as soon as I turned on the screen I was like “wooooah this is f***ing sick”. It really is exactly what the ads say, its 3D without glasses and you really do have to see it to believe it.

How do they do it? No f***ing idea! But it is definitely worth seeing. But I’ll tell you now, it doesn’t “jump out” of the screen like in the cinema, or on a 3D TV if you have one,  but it definitely goes in, and Nintendo even had some really cool inbuilt games which Mikey gave me the chance to play. It really does look 3D and I can’t emphasise that enough.

So if you’re not sure and haven’t seen it yet, go check it out. It will definitely make your mind up.
